Privacy Policy

Effective 21 September 2026

Fox in the Sawdust builds custom furniture in Rexburg, Idaho. This policy explains what information we collect through foxinthesawdust.com, by phone and text, and while building and delivering furniture for you — and what we do with it.

Who we are: Fox in the Sawdust LLC, 2692 S Yellowstone Hwy Suite 101, Rexburg, ID 83440 · (208) 360-6348 · [email protected]

Information we collect

You give us directly: your name, email address, phone number, mailing and delivery address, and what you tell us about your project — room dimensions, wood species, finish preferences, photographs of your space, budget and timing.

From orders and payments: billing address, order history, delivery details and payment confirmation. We do not store full payment card numbers; card payments are handled by our payment provider.

From your calls, texts and messages with us: your phone number, the content of messages, and call dates and durations.

Automatically from the website: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on site, the site or ad that sent you here, and similar analytics data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

To answer your questions and prepare quotes; to design, build, schedule and deliver your furniture; to take payment; to provide warranty and after-sale service; to keep records of our work and our agreements; to send you order and delivery updates; to send marketing emails and texts if you asked to receive them; to improve our website and understand which ads work; and to comply with the law.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

  • GoHighLevel — customer relationship management, phone, text messaging and email
  • JobTread — project and job management
  • Our website host and WordPress plugin providers — site operation, forms and online store
  • MailPoet — email newsletters
  • Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram advertising) — website analytics and advertising
  • Our payment processor — card and payment handling
  • Delivery contractors and freight carriers — to deliver your furniture
  • Professional advisors (accountant, attorney) and government authorities where the law requires

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may text you about your quote, your order and delivery scheduling, and — if you opted into marketing separately — about promotions and new work. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your order. Full terms are in our Text Message Terms.

Our use of artificial intelligence

We use AI tools to help us run the shop — drafting replies, summarizing notes, organizing quotes and scheduling — and we expect to add an automated assistant to our website and messaging that can answer common questions. Here is what that means for you:

  • If you are interacting with an automated assistant rather than a person, we will tell you so, at the start of the conversation and whenever you ask. If you are ever unsure, just ask — we will answer straight, and you can always reach a person at (208) 360-6348.
  • A real person at Fox in the Sawdust is responsible for every message you receive from us, whether or not an AI tool helped write it. Quotes, prices, lead times, wood species, finishes and warranty terms are reviewed by a person before they go out.
  • We never use AI to write reviews or testimonials, and we never publish a review from anyone who is not a real customer.
  • The AI tools we use may process the content of your messages in order to do this work. They do not make decisions about you on their own.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic and advertise.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. You can read how Google collects and processes data at google.com/policies/privacy/partners, and opt out using Google’s browser add-on.

We also advertise online. Third-party vendors, including Google and Meta, show our ads on sites across the internet. Third-party vendors, including Google and Meta, use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your past visits to our website. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at Google Ads Settings, Meta’s at your Facebook ad preferences, and many other vendors at the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

Third-party tracking across other websites. Third parties, including Google and Meta, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our site.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, and our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. The opt-out links above are the most reliable way to limit advertising tracking.

How long we keep information

We keep order records, contracts and payment records as long as needed to serve you and to meet our tax and legal obligations — normally at least seven years. Marketing contact information is kept until you unsubscribe. Website analytics data is kept according to the settings in the tools we use.

Reviewing and changing your information

To see what we have, correct it, or ask us to delete it, email [email protected] or call (208) 360-6348. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some information to complete your order, honor a warranty or meet a legal obligation, and we will tell you if that is the case.

To stop marketing email, click unsubscribe in any marketing email. To stop texts, reply STOP.

Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will post the updated policy here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, tell you by email. The effective date at the top always shows the current version.
