The Bridger is our take on the farmhouse X-trestle: bold crossed uprights, a heavy center beam, and chamfered feet that plant the whole piece firmly on the floor. The base is mortised and pegged rather than fastened, which is why it will not loosen after a decade of being pushed around. A weathered top over a dark base gives it the look of a table that has already lived a life. Built to seat a crowd and take whatever they bring.
